At Amanahbody, community is not an add-on it is the foundation of everything we do.
Our work is rooted in widening access, uplifting Chapeltown, and supporting the organisations and individuals that make our neighbourhood thrive.
We offer donation-based community classes, with all contributions directed to initiatives close to our hearts including RJC Dance and local Chapeltown charities.
To honour the true value of the work while ensuring accessibility, we offer a suggested donation of £10+.
This reflects the depth and quality of the class while allowing everyone to participate in a way that feels right for them.
These classes help facilitate real change supporting young people, elderly members of our community, cultural organisations, and grassroots projects that enrich and empower Chapeltown.
Amanahbody is founded in Chapeltown and remains committed to serving the community that surrounds it. To support local residents and those working within the area, a limited number of community Access places are available.
Pilates Scholarship
Coming Soon Launching 2026
In 2026, we introduce the Amanahbody 800-hour Pilates Scholarship Programme, designed for individuals from underrepresented or underprivileged backgrounds.
Our aim is to remove financial barriers, address inequality within the classical Pilates world, and empower passionate movers to build long-term careers within Contrology.
As a deeply mentored pathway, places in the scholarship will be limited, ensuring each participant receives the guidance, attention, and support they deserve.
The programme will offer immersive training across the full apparatus system, mentorship, and a clear route into teaching helping shape a future for Pilates that reflects the richness and diversity of our wider community.
